TV Watching Bunny Loves Her Soap Operas

No one likes a channel surfer. Especially Jia Xiaoyu, a pet rabbit who resides in China and is so obsessed with her evening soaps that she attacks when her owners try to change the channel!

Every night at 10 p.m., the bunny snuggles onto the couch beside owner Jiang Chunlei and his wife to watch her favorite show, the South Korean soap opera Ms. Mermaid. "If we accidentally switched to another channel, she would be very angry, biting the pillow and attacking us," Chunlei tells the Xiamen Evening Post. "She wouldn't stop and be quiet until we turned back the channel."

Jia Xiaoyu is a diva in other ways, too. According to the couple, she is so stubborn that she'll only watch TV if she is wedged between them. If they try to move her, she jumps right back.

It seems Jia Xiaoyu has turned into something of a couch potato. Weighing in at over 13 lbs., the bunny is considered overweight and the couple is looking to put her on a diet. Maybe she'll get inspired to trim down by watching the glamorous soap stars!
