Rules For Posting

1. Always be respectful and courteous of all members.
Unacceptable behavior towards other members will be defined as being rude, name calling, verbal abuse, threats. This is ALSO no place for rescues/shelters to bicker and create animosity. Posts questioning another rescues efforts will be deleted. Find another approach. If you have a serious concern and are unsure of how to approach it, contact a moderator. Do NOT start a flame war to deal with it on your own. It is counter productive to our goals and will only achieve rifts in a group that needs to work together.

Addendum to allowable topics..two topics are NOT allowed to be used in a joking manner by ANY members and those are as follows:

A. any reference in a joking manner to any form of developemental disabilities

B. any reference in a joking manner to dying animals


Abuse of member will result in:
1) warning by admin or moderator
2) a two week suspension from the forum
3) a permanent ban


2. [color=darkred]Keep all use of inappropriate language to a minimum..remember we have alot of members here and some may not be nearly as amused as you by many choice words.

3. Do NOT use your sigline or avatar as a weapon to bait other members. Please use them for animal or rescue related things only. And cyber pets count as animals too. Anything considered inappropriate by an admin or moderator WILL be removed without warning and an explaination will be pm'ed.

4. Private messages are not to be used to abuse, be rude, or otherwise serve malicious purposes. Follow the old rule of "If you don't have anything nice to say..don't say anything at all"..if there are complaints that you are abusing your right to pm..that privilege, you will lose it.

Abuse of private messages:
1) warning by admin or moderator
2) removal of pm privilege for one month
3) permanent removal of pm privilege


5. Please try to put posts in the proper area. If you are unsure..no worries..we will move it for you. But we prefer not to need to.

6. Please use your search tool. We really do not need 10 threads on the exact same subject.

7. If there are any MAJOR issues between members, please report to a moderator or administrator. We will do our best to handle the situation fairly.

8. Do NOT bring issues from other boards onto this board. And do not take issues from THIS board elsewhere.

9. If you are found to be continuously disruptive and problematic in your attitudes, you will be asked to straighten up or leave. If the problems persist you WILL be made to leave.

10. The first priority of this board is animal rescue. Pets in need HAVE to come before personalities. You don't have to like everyone, but you had darn well better be polite anyways.
